Needing a break from the chaos of city living and a stressful career, in the summer of 2017 I returned to my hometown of Eagle River where I turned the fallow fields of my family’s fifth-generation farmstead into a beautiful plot of specialty annuals and native perennials. I fell in love with everything flower-related—bugs, sunburns, and all—and although I had to return to my career in the city, every summer the flowers called me back.

My husband and I decided to make Eagle River our forever home in 2020 and I gradually expanded the business from subscription bouquets to a studio known for our whimsical and natural floral designs. Now in Wanderwild’s latest chapter, I’m thrilled to announce the opening of our full-service brick-and-mortar shop, specializing in weddings, funeral, and holiday retail, as well as a curated selection of home goods and gifts.
